I had gummy bear implants put in on March 18, 2020. They have been "rippling" and I have went down in size almost 1/2 cup. I had them done out of state and am not sure what to do now. They feel fine and look fine unless I bend over. Do you think the surgeon put in saline instead? Or maybe did not put them fully under the muscle?
You should call your surgeon's office and go back for a follow up. It would be really unlikely that the surgeon put in saline when you paid for silicone. Fat grafting may be an option.
What does you implant card say ? Should tell you exactly what implant was put in.
You can also follow up with your surgeon if possible. Otherwise, obtain the operative reports and follow up with a board certified plastic surgeon in your areas to go over what your options are at this time.
When you bend over is when you are going to feel the rippling more. Rippling is more when you have saline but no guarantees that you will not have this with the other implants, especially if your tissues are very thin. It is unlikely that they put in the wrong implants but you can check the card given to you or request a copy of your operative report or call the office of your surgeon or visit a local ABPS certified physician for a consultation.
Some time after anybreast surgery using implants you will get some breast tissue lose of volumen, you can get rippling even using silicone implants, there are diferent type of silicone gels, implants shapes that produces more rippling than others, check your implants certification or clinical records. You can get a new surgery to improve rippling: change to under muscular plane if it is over the muscle, use a new full filled implant, poliuretane covered implant, fat grafting, flaps, dermic acelular matrix or others... You have to check a surgeon to check what is the best option in your case.
