Mommy makeover

I’m 5’6” I currently weigh 289lbs and I’ve had two c-sections and desperately need to get a mommy makeover done. I’m a current smoker with no other health issues, I’m just concerned about the cost financially

You are not a candidate for a mommy makeover or any other plastic surgery operation. Your BMI is over 45 and you therefore suffer from morbid obesity. You are a candidate for bariatric surgery to get your BMI below 34. You should be examined by an internist as you likely have an elevated A1C which means you likely have diabetes or pre diabetes. Also I would not be surprised to find your blood pressure is chronically elevated and needs to be controlled. Only then do you become a candidate for a mommy makeover, bbl, Lipo etc. Be sure to see a member or candidate member of this society who can guide you through this process. There are fake plastic surgeons out there who would operate on you now for “bargain” fee. Avoid them, you will put your life at risk. Best of luck!

Dr. Dowback has offered excellent advice. Another albeit more difficult way to lose weight is diet and exercise.

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your desperation. Unfortunately with your current smoking and elevated BMI the risk of surgery is too great. I would recommend employing your resources with a personal trainer and nutritionist to help pursue weight loss prior to any procedure.

You are approximately twice the ideal body weight for a woman of your height and average build. You need to lose weight, one way or another, and quit smoking. You don't say how old your children are but you presumably would like to dance at their weddings. You need to be concerned for your health, not the cost of a "mommy makeover." No responsible surgeon will operate on you. You should talk to your personal physician. Your smoking and your weight are significant health issues that need to addressed. No procrastination allowed.
