I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty in August of 2019. Now I have a hard lump in my nostril near the center. I know a lot of cartiledge was used to reshape the tip, but is this a piece of it poking through? It’s hard and annoying while getting more painful by the day. Not unbearable but just tender.
Could be a suture spit or a piece of cartilage. Hard to tell anything from these pictures. You should see the surgeon for an exam and evaluation.

The "lump" could be several things including a stitch from inside that is rejecting, a fragment of cartilage and even an ingrown hair. Lump in the nostril can cause from several things. You should go back the follow up with your surgeon for more examination and suggestion if treatment needed.
