uneven breasts after explant

11 days ago my breast implants were removed. I had 370 cc of hydrogel. The right side had been deflated for 3 months. Currently, the right breast looks nice. The left breast appears much smaller and the breast fold is higher. Could it be that the left breast still has to drop?

Procedure: Breast Implant Removal

Look at your original pictures before the first surgery. You were probably asymmetric in breast size.

The other possibility is as the breast healed after removal of implants healed differently. That would be the reason in different size and shape of the breasts. Talk with your plastic surgeon after six minths and probably you have many options to equalize the breast size and shape.

Hello, the recovery time for each breast will be different, because one of them behaved as if the implant had already been removed. All that remains is to wait and after 6-12 months you will have the volume and final shape of both to evaluate the final result.

This is a difficult question to answer without seeing your pre operative pictures as well as an operative report to ascertain exactly what operation was performed.

Having said, that 11 days after a surgery is way too early to determine the final outcome. It can take up to a year for your breasts to fully settle after an explant surgery.
