It depends on your surgeon's office. We work with Care Credit which provides 0% interest for one year to the patient. Most cosmetic surgeries are paid in advance by either Care Credit, Credit card, or the patient making deposits on their account prior to the surgery. Good luck!

Most insurance policies cover breast reduction if it is done for medical, not cosmetic reasons. They will want documentation of medical justification, i.e., back, neck, shoulder pain grooving of the shoulders from bra straps, irritation under the breasts. Insurance companies usually use a formula called the Schnur scale which relates the estimated mass of breast tissue to be removed to the body surface area of the woman.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. There are financing options such as CareCredit and Alphaeon that may allow you the flexibility of having the procedure now while paying for it over the next several months or years. Hope this helps.

Hi Dominique and thank you for your question. In my office, we offer payment plans through CareCredit. I recommend researching a board certified plastic surgeon and inquiring about their specific payment plan policies.

Best wishes,

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Yes, we offer many different payment plans for a breast reduction. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!

In our office, I first have a consultation to determine if I think it will be covered by insurance. If so. we send a letter with pictures and a history.. If not covered, the fee is paid, in advance, by the patient , using cash, credit card, or lending institutions, including a bank or three other lending institutions which offer competitive rates and terms. If covered, any money, in excess of the fee, is returned to the patient.
