Lip Scar tissue removal/ lip realignment

I have scar tissue causing a bump on my upper lip due to an accident from a decade ago. I saw a plastic surgeon in my home country right after the stitches were removed, but they said it’s not very likely for the scar to go away.

Is it possible to remove it? Thank you!

Procedure: Lip Augmentation/Enhancement
Location: seattle, WA

Hello! It is possible to improve it but not eliminate it. Technically you need a minimal resection to only have a fine and neat linear cocysteis.

Human skin heals with scar tissue. I believe your scar can be improved. There are many qualified plastic surgeons in the Seattle area who can take care of you.

Dear palakk15,

Once a scar is present it is present in some form for life. There may be options for reducing it's visibility. Seek consultation with an American Board of Plastic Surgery certified plastic surgeon for an examination and discussion of your options. Good luck!

All one can say is that it can not be removed but possibly improved. You need a consultation with an ABPS certified or eligible surgeon close to where you live.
