Breast Lift with Implants

Hello. I have done a breast lift with 325 mentor high profile and round implants 13 days ago. My surgeon provided me with a breast band as both of the implants were riding high one week post op. But I noticed that the left implant remains still high and dropping while right dropped. I am getting worried, what could be the reason?

Thanks!

Procedure: Breast Augmentation
Location: Budapest - Hungary

Assuming that the implants are under the muscle, high riding implant could be due to muscle spasm/ contraction. One side the implant dropped with the strap. It is likely that continued use of the strap will help for six to twelve weeks.

You need to speak to your surgeon, the one you put trust in to do your surgery.

You had a complex operation with very large implants for your body and sometimes these problems happen. Your surgeon is right by recommending a band and this usually helps but it may take several more weeks. If it does not help, perhaps a revision of the pocket and the placement of a smaller implant of a higher profile may help. Stay in touch with your surgeons and they should be able to take care of you.

You should continue to use band. If it doesn't settle you may require a revision (of the pocket) surgery.
