Excess hanging skin of the upper abdomen can be improved with surgery. A consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon should explain the pros and cons of each treatment option. Remember that surgical options leave a scar. These scars are usually able to be hidden under most bathing suits. I hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you very much for your question.

This is something we get asked all the time. Noninvasive options only do so much, and they are usually not a replacement for surgery, but as an addition to enhance the results. Please consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon on surgical options, which include Liposuction, and an energy-based device, such as Renuvion to address your concerns.

Thank you for your question regarding what to do with your “sad belly” after finishing Venus Legacy and EM sculpt. In analyzing your picture, you have excess skin around the belly button. This area is difficult to tighten with exercise. Since you have excess skin, you have two options. You can either cut out the skin or rely on less invasive procedures. Let’s explore the skin removal procedures. Your options include removing the excess skin around the belly button. This procedure is called an umbilicoplasty. Another procedure to consider would be a mini tummy tuck with an umbilicoplasty to correct the excess skin around the bellybutton. Less invasive procedures include the VASER, which uses ultrasonic energy. Another option would be to use the BodyTite which uses radio frequency energy. Both ultrasonic energy and radio frequency energy help to tighten the skin.
