i am interested in liposuction and butt augmentation and fat grafting ,i have pcos that iu have under control .i have lost some weight and my doctor said it woulsd be a good idea if i wanted to reshape my body.however i am taking metformin would it be advisable to have a mri done ,first since they can detect underlying health conditions ? i want the best outcome possible when i finally go
PCOS is a relatively common condition and Metformin a commonly prescribed drug. You should not need an MRI prior to liposuction and fat transfer. Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in the procedure and ask to see their before and after photos.
MRI for what? This is not going to help in any way. Metformin is not a problem. You need a consultation with An ABPS certified or eligible surgeon close to home to see if you are a candidate for that surgery.
liposuction and butt fat transfer may help you have a good body shaping and full physical examination blood test and x-ray for make sure that you have fit enough for the surgery is nesscessary but no need MRI.
