I think due to compression garment being very tight I think my scar tissue has been misplaced. Please tell me if it is okay.

From your given photo (Very limited veiw) it's look good for the healing process and normally after liposuction you have to wear compression garment around 1-3 months and wait for the real result 6-8 month (Normal scar tissue remodeling process) or 1 month after surgery you can do some massage by radiofrequency machine to soften the tissue more easier.
I would recommend a combination platform for your scars, even if they are old. We treat these frequently with a combination of IIT; fractional delivery of corticosteroids, vbeam laser, BBL, scar modulation, and Plato's Scar Serum (at home). The pigmentation will improve with Melarase PM twice daily.
