Breast lift 6 week ago but I think it’s done for wrong

Hi, I recently had a breast lift and tummy tuck. I had gastric sleeve surgery in 2013. My breast after my weight loss became very saggy and little tissue. I don’t feel like a woman but I had the breast lift now my breast still has wrinkles of extra skin and starting to sag once again. It’s only been 7 weeks. And th surgeon said there’s nothing he can do unless I do implants

Procedure: Breast Lift
Location: Southington, CT

Dear Melisa,

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. If you have just had a procedure, you should wait at least 6 months before considering a revision. If, at that time, you still want a procedure, you have multiple options, including breast fat transfer, implant placement, or further lifting. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry that your current results have not been what you anticipated. Unfortunately without photographs to see it is difficult to offer definite advice. I would speak with your surgeon to address your concerns, or seek out second opinions on what would be the necessary steps to help you achieve your goal result.

Unfortunately, after a major weight gain and then loss, your elastic andcollagen fibersdo not have the stregth any more. I see thisin my post-bariatric patients and I tighten them as much as possible to try and avoid this from happening.

Hi. If you are a young person and your breast skin is thin, you will need implant placement not for augmentation purposes but for giving support to your mammary tissue allowing the breasts to stay higher, projected and filled, avoiding the fallenness of the breast again.
