General inquiry

2 c-sections (‘21&’22) plus diagnosed w/ insulin resistance in ‘19. Not sure what the best procedure would be, having 2 kids makes it hard to get into a consult. Plus would like to see if there’s anything insurance would cover w/ permanent results. I’ve tried diet & exercise, nothing helps the “apron belly”. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Procedure: Liposuction
Location: Stanford, KY

Liposuction is not the procedure to be done, the redundant skin will not change at all. Abdominoplasty should be done.

Liposuction is not going to be solved the problem you have. Whenever the perfect solution wants to be done, first the problem must be defined. Your problem includes excessive skin and excessive fat accumulation on your sides and stomach area so Lipo-Abdominoplasty (lipo - Tummy Tuck) is going to be the best solution for your situation.

In order to get any sort of acceptable results, you would need an abdominoplasty, better known as a tummy tuck. Some liposuction on the sides might also be beneficial. However, if you can lose some weight prior to your surgery, results would be better.

Your best results are going to be with a significant amount of weight loss before surgery. You can still get a very nice result without the wt. loss but will have some limitations. You can not be made skinny or get rid of all rolls but the main problem is the overhanging part and you will get rid of this. You will require at least an extended abdominoplasty with quite a bit of liposuction also. Liposuction alone should not be done. Diet and exercise is not going to remove the excessive amount of skin but with wt. loss it will be easier to remove it with a better result. One looses wt. with the proper diet. You need to make the time to visit with an ABPS certified or eligible plastic surgeon for a consultation and will have to see them again for a second consult prior to any surgery. If you do not have the time for a consultation then you do not have time for the surgery and should not have it. Unfortunately this is a cosmetic operation and no insurance is going to cover it.

We can not guarantee for permanent result but you would have long term result if you can keep your weight stable and no more kid , result will be very long time.

For my opinion , your operation of choice is Tummy tuck ( tightening muscle inside, create new shape of belly button, excise excess fat and skin ). For diabetes , our medical doctor will take care you but should to try control fasting blood sugar as much as possible before surgery.

You will stay in hospital for 2 nights snd should have to stay in Thailand at least 2 weeks.
