Wondering if there are any residency programs in the DC area that will perform "medically required breast reduction." I tried for 10 years now and have been declined three time and twice after appeal All five times denial. Though I lost weight I am declined and now I am looking to see if I may go via a Medical residency program in the area for acceptance.
Hello, Most Residency programs do offer Medically Required Breast Reduction at low cost to patients. Most Board Certified Plastc Surgeons, such as myself, offer reduced costs for Reconstructive Surgery when compared to Anesthetic Surgery Alone.
If you have been declined five times then there must be a reason for consider this a cosmetic operation. Check and see if there are any residency programs associated with a medical school close to where you live and make an appointment to the plastic surgery clinic.
