My breast feels tight and swollen and have had a rash all over my body that will not go away.
Sorry to hear you are having this issue. A lot of things can be going on here and it’s really hard to figure out what the problem is without more information. I suggest returning to your operating surgeon who performed the DIEP flap for an examination to figure out the next steps
One would need a complete history and physical examination including what surgery exactly you had and what your surgeon is telling you. If you had a DIEP flap reconstruction it was most likely performed by a real board certifies or eligible ABPS surgeon that knows his or her business. Start by returning to your surgeon to ask all of these questions.
