A month from a scar due to upper lip trauma/contusion and now have a puffy to the touch scar that is hard at the top corner. The area between my top lip and upper lip is still slightly swollen. Was wondering if the color will fill and the scar will flatten more.
The answer to both of your questions is, probably yes. Apply pressure to the firm area 5 minutes a day using your fingers. It should soften and flatten in 2-3 months. The color may take a year to come back.
There is still time for the color and volume to even out. I suggest waiting at least 6 months before considering any revision.
