Hello, I got bit in the face by a dog 6 months ago and had stitches for about a week. I now have a bump that seems to be scar tissue and I wanted some opinion on should I see a plastic surgeon for this, dermatologist, or what are my best options?
I would continue massage and see a plastic surgeon.
Continue w/ the massage. It looks like a small cyst? And scar. It will improve w/ the massage
I recommend waiting another 6 months. If it does not improve, surgical revision of the scar is recommended to reduce volume in that area (remove protruding mucosa).
