I am interested in getting rhinoplasty. I would like to get cartilage in my nose so that I have a high profile instead of low profile nose, but I’m so worried about my nose warping, as I have seen that this can be an issue when getting cartilage. I want to avoid this, as I really would not want to get a revision and will deal with my nose bump being shaved instead, but is it possible to avoid?

Warping of a cartilage graft can occur. It is best to use non-scarred cartilage that has perichondrum on either side or none at all. The quality of the graft, delicate placement and handling, and cartilage graft location can all affect the longterm positioning of your cartilage.
