Breasts are lopsided after lift and implants

I am 10 weeks postop, right after surgery my breasts looked amazing. I noticed after 4 weeks my left breast is still high and is leaning towards my sternum. I am distraught about this outcome the lopsided appearance is very unattractive and obvious. I assumed they would fall into the correct position with time. I have an appointment with my surgeon in 2 weeks but the wait is giving me anxiety.

Procedure: Breast Augmentation
Location: miami, FL

Your left breast was a little higher to start with. No woman has perfectly symmetrical breasts. Your result actually looks quite nice. You are still early in the healing process and can expect some change in the next several months.

Do not worry. Give it more time. It may be the the left breast had a little more bleeding and that blood is giving some unwanted extra volume. It is too soon to tell if you have capsular contracture. Continue follow-up with your surgeon as he is the best physician to advise.

Thank you for this question and providing the pre and post operative photographs. 10 weeks is still very early in the post operative process, especially if your implants were put under the muscle. The muscle can be in spasm for several weeks.

Based on these photographs, it looks like you are healing very well. I agree with my colleagues here as I also feel that your surgeon did a very good job on this procedure.

I would wait a minimum of 6 months from the date of the procedure to see how the breast settle.

Best wishes.

looking good. Needs more time. Your left side may have a smaller chest wall

There is always some form of asymmetry of the breasts. Looking at the pictures your right side was lower than the left, the right appears a little wider and the left points a little more laterally. These things can not be seen unless trying to look for them and we always look closer after surgery. You appear to have a very nice result and yes, I can see the difference when trying to look for it. It is very early postop and things will get better. Nothing should be done for several months at least other than the implant movement prescribed by your surgeon. After a few months if there is a problem perhaps a small revision may help but you still have a nice result as is.
