Hi, I’m getting an eyelid lift soon. Does an eyelid lift elongate outer corners of eyes? If not, what surgery can I get with the eyelid lift to elongate the outer corner of eyes?
Well, it all depends on your own natural features and anatomical needs vs real and natural looking results. For instance, some people comes and ask for eyelids surgery, when they are still young and an improvement is reached with a tail of the eyebrows lift.
There are techniques for treating the lateral cantus in order to avoid or to correct an ectoprion during blepharoplasty.
Maybe, what you are looking for, is what is being promoted as “Foxy eyes” that is a combination of tail of the eyebrowlift and upper cheeks bone and cheeks lift. You must be evaluated( photoss or personal consultation) to see realistic expectations and possibilities.
Well you have 2 options. One is endoscopic temple lift with cantopexy, or direct cantoolasty with eyelid lift. If you also have droopy eyebrow tail, i strongly recommend endoscopic temple lift
I do not understand how anybody could recommend any surgery without looking at the patient. The questions you have should be addressed to the board certified or eligible plastic surgeon that is going to do your surgery.
