Is there any pro bono plastic surgeons? I am a single mom of 4 and have lost from 398lbs to 150lbs and I'm in desperate need of a full body makeover but can't afford it...please help
Thank you for sharing your question and congratulations on your impressive weight loss! Though unlikely to find a pro bono plastic surgeon I would recommend reaching out to local plastic surgery training programs where a chief resident clinic may be more economical. Hope this helps.
In agreement with Dr. Castillo, a University plastic surgery program (Emory/Grady or Medical College of Georgia) may be able to help you. Our Femininity Foundation offers free surgical procedures to victims of violence and/or domestic abuse to whom such procedures assist in their rehabilitation and recovery.
You may want to check at a univesity plastic surgery department but I think that they charge too. We make every effort to limit the costs for these specialized procedures and do offer discounts for patients willing to talk with media.

Congratulations on your weight loss. Unfortunately reconstructing a body after major weight loss involves multiple, lengthy operations and very great deal of time so I know of no way to get this for free from either a hospital, anesthesiologist or surgeon. You can be seen at a resident training program where fees are reduced. Or you can go public on a Go Fund Me page.
