I underwent surgery to remove painful "bra roll fat" in my armpits. One was larger than the other so there's more loose skin on one side. In fact there's a lot of loose skin "skin laxity" in the armpit area. I had a straight excision of the tissue and thought that some of the skin was being excised along with it so this wouldn't happen. Do you ever have to go back in to excise more skin ?
In this type of surgery, as in all, adequate preoperative planning is necessary. Therefore, diagnosis is key. Once the surgery has been performed and following your description, if there is currently excess skin, then the skin type will have to be defined to know if it is only excess skin or if you also have sagging skin. because the planning of the next surgery will depend on that.

Hello. Photos would be helpful. Any skin laxity requires skin excision or revision surgery in your case.
Hard to say without seeing pictures. Depending on the extent of the surgery, it may contract or you may need a revision. Please discuss this with your surgeon.
