Visible scar

Good evening. I had my upper eyelid surgery done 11 months ago. Scars are still highly visible (red, wavy after stitches, and rise above natural crease on the left eye).Eyelid looks like it has become lower on the left eye. Does it need revision in your opinion?

Procedure: Eyelid Surgery
Location: Riga - Latvia

It will get better with time. However the incisions were made high and that’s why they are visible. I would not do revision and just allow to heal and possibly laser treatment

Whenever we do surgery there always be scars and some are more visible than others, The scars could be revised for a possible improvement but with some more time they will continue to improve and I would advice you to leave them alone. Discuss with your plastic surgeon.

Blepharoplasty scars

Given your skin type and complexion, the scars will fade with time. In my practice, I would suggest a combination treatment for your scars including PRP, laser therapy, and topical scar gel. I would suggest Sequel Scar Defense Gel twice daily for at least 60 days in the early phase of healing from a blepharoplasty.
