Open wound, wet scab?

I had a mommy makeover on July 8th and I'm concerned about how this incision is healing. My plastic surgeon is on vacation and I have been messaging her through text. She suggested that I change a dry dressing three times a day but every time I go to change the dressing it is sticking to the area. This morning I used sterile gauze and saline solution to blot the area. Any suggestions? Thank you

Procedure: Breast Lift
Location: Naples, FL

If the dressing is sticking to the wound, apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment or Vaseline to the wound first. Or, use a nonstick dressing like the inside of a Band-Aid.

Hello, dehiscence of that part of the wound is very common in this anchor technique. The most important thing is that you have continuous monitoring by your surgeon because there may be exposure of the implant and that requires explanation. You have to keep the wound with daily antiseptic cleaning and application of antibiotic and antifungal cream.

Do you have an implant? If so, then it looks the only coverage of it is the exudate, which means it is exposed and you should see the surgeon covering for your surgeon. If there i no implant, then prevent the site from drying out. I would apply Xeroform gauze and a dressing, change it when you shower.
