Some will offer complimentary consultations at no charge while others will charge around $100 with the cost of the consult applied to the surgery fee if you book surgery within a certain period of time. At our office we charge $90 for a consultation, which is then applied toward the cost of the procedure. You may want to call around to several plastic surgeons in your area to see what is common.

Consultations range from free to over $250. We charge $125 and credit it to your surgical fee if you schedule surgery. More importantly, search for a reputable board certified plastic surgeon and do not be afraid to get several opinions. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for sharing your question. Each surgeon has a different policy on charging for aesthetic consults, with prices ranging from 0-500 dollars per appointment. In the vast majority of cases this amount is deducted from any surgery cost that you elect to pursue. Hope this helps.
Costs for consultations are often dictated by the market and how many may be offering 'free' consultations. Free ones usually mean you see the assistant for most of the time and maybe the doctor for a few minutes...
I charge $80-100 for my consultations that take 45min to an hour... and you get me for the whole time. This fee is applicable towards your procedure if you chose to have one with me.
Consultation fees vary from doctor to doctor. We offer one complementary consultation for any cosmetic procedures such as a mommy makeover. We perform a lot of mommy makeovers but I’m sure there are board-certified plastic surgeon is in your area who can advise you on this procedure.
We also charge 100 dollars for the consult which includes more than one visit and it is applied to the surgical fee if you proceed with the surgery.
So Melanie- Any surgeon talking about a Mommy makeover will analyze whether you need a breast reduction, lift or augmentation; whether you need a mastopexy, whether you need a tummy tuck with liposuction of your flanks, thighs, and arms; and whether medically you can tolerate and heal from all this. If your plumber came out and was asked to give you an estimate to reconfigure your whole plumbing system to your kitchen, just figure what he would charge you for the estimate. In my opinion, $200 is a good figure for that. Most plastic surgeons charge less. If your plumber quoted you $5500 for the whole job, you would not be surprised. Just plan on the surgery costing around 9-10,000$ That is what you are asking to be done, by someone who has trained 17 years to do this for you.

Hello and thank you for your question. Consultation costs really depend on your surgeon. Some surgeons do not charge a fee at all, while others charge up to $500. I do not charge for a consultation and do many via Facetime/Skype and Whats Up and follow my out of town patients this way also.
