Nose Job after Nose Filler

Hi there,

Over the course of the past 4 years, I've had nose filler quite a few times (I'd say about 5 times in total). I was wondering if I am still eligible for rhinoplasty even after having had filler. The last time I had it done was over a year ago. However, a month ago, I found out that I was allergic to the dissolving solution. How would this impact my potential nose job?

Procedure: Rhinoplasty
Location: Hamilton, ON - Canada

You are best to wait until the filler dissolves completely before undergoing a rhinoplasty. This may take longer than a year because filler in the nose tends to last a bit longer than other areas. Best of luck

Rhinoplasty surgery would be most accurately performed once the injected filler is gone so that the actual anatomy of your nose can be appreciated. Hyaluronic acid fillers will usually last several months in most areas but often more in the nose.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. You would still be a candidate for a nose job but should allow the fillers you had placed to fully dissolve before seeking a surgical correction. Hope this helps.

Best thing to do is to wait until the filler fully disolves so you can have a rhinoplasty with much better results. If you have any more doubts, please let me know.

It is ideal to undergo rhinoplasty after fillers have completely dissolved.HA fillers usually dissolve within a year, but you are better off asking the doctor who did the filler about the dissolving time.
