Concerns with scar line and Breast shape

Hi! I am 6months post op and have an area on my scar line that is about 1 in long. This section of the scar line dimples in normally but I have noticed when I raise my arm it detracts inward. What could be causing this..could it be a suture?

Procedure: Breast Reduction

Without seeing the scar and what you are describing, it is hard to say for sure. Based on my experience, it is likely some adherent scar tissue. Sometimes massaging the scar can release the scar tissue, if that's what it is. A visit to your surgeon should clarify things for you as to what's going on and what can be done to treat it.

Thank you for sharing your question. Most likely at 6 months your sutures have dissolved but thickened scar tissue may be present. I would recommend seeing your surgeon to discuss scar maturation options to further your results.

I would recommend to contact your doctor, because it is better to take a look in person to know for sure what could be causing it. Please let me know if you have more doubts.
