A BBL or Brazilian Butt Lift is the same as a fat transfer to butt with fat obtained through liposuction from different parts. I also put fat into the hips. About 60-80% of fat that I trasfer into the butt tends to remain. The main negative is that you have to stay on yourstomach for a good ten days to allow the fat to take.

There is no difference between the two. A Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is done by doing liposuction for areas where there is excess fat such as the abdomen, flanks, back, and medial thighs. This is followed by processing the fat and transferring it to the buttocks and hip areas.

Hi."Butt Lif"t and "Liposuction with Fat Transfer to Buttocks" (the so-called Brazillian Butt Lift or BBL) are exactly the same procedure.

The difference is that some patients, with no idea of what the procedure is about, ask for a BBL without Liposuction, as if there is no need of harvesting the fat with lipo from the body contour for transfer. That is all.

Its a "Myth" that you can not sit or sleep over your back to allow the transfered fat to remain in the receptor area. All is needed is to harvest the fat through the Traditional Lipo Technique, to allow the survival of the fat cell in the receptor area, and avoid massages and ultrasound to the buttocks. Nevertheless , a 20 to 25 % of the fat transfered will be reabsorbed by the body, that is why I over correct to compensate the loss.
