How would it be to my advantage if I decide to have a second Facelift, to choose a surgeon who does other plastic surgeries (breast implants, lipo, tummy tuck, etc.) vs. a surgeon who only does Facelifts?
You should find a surgeon who performs both primary and secondary facelifts as a regular part of their practice. Your chosen surgeon should be able to answer your questions, discuss possible complications, as well as the likelihood of those complications. You may also ask how many facelifts they have done and to see before and after photos of their work. What other operations your surgeon may perform should not determine your choice.
You have to do your due diligence to find a good surgeon. Look at his results, go for a consultation, see if his philosophy is your philosophy. Best of luck.
I think you are asking the wrong question. A surgeon can do 1000 facelifts, if they all look like a Picasso, how is that to your advantage? As I recall Michelangelo was not a painter first, but he did a pretty bang-up job, with all its imperfections, on the Sistine Chapel. It would be to your advantage to ask whomever you consult with to show you their work.
You certainly want a board-certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in facelift surgery. Many of us choose plastic surgery because of the variety of procedures we get to perform. The surgical skills required, and the tricks of the trade if you will, are the same no matter if it is a facelift or a breast lift or a tummy tuck. As with any surgical procedure it would be best to vet your surgeon for the exact procedure you are interested in, evaluating their before and after images to get a sense as to their work ability. Hope this helps.
When deciding which surgeon to choose, you need someone who has good experience in revision facelifts; you don't need someone who only does facelifts, and I would be skeptical of anyone claiming to only perform facelifts. They need to show you their own photos. When they do, look for someone who will point out not only the "good" but also the things they feel they should have done better. This shows honesty, and it shows a surgeon who is evaluating themselves critically and constructively. No surgeon is perfect. If they can't find at least one thing they could have done better, they won't be able to deliver. Lastly, don't let someone operate on you if you don't feel comfortable with them as a person. The bottom line is this: there are many surgeons who are more than capable of providing you your desired results. You just have to find them.

A good and well trained plastic surgeon its able to manage well all plastic surgery procedures. In my case I can do any of them succesfully.
