Hello,
I have recently turned 18 years old, and I have been considering a breast augmentation since I was 13/14 due to breast asymmetry. My right breast is around an A cup where my left is around a B-C cup. Bras don't really fit, and I have always struggled with feeling comfortable in clothing. What advice/research would you suggest on the topic, and any tips for speaking on it with my father?
Hi Brooke. There might be several different options but they will depend upon how your breasts look. You are best to see a board certified plastic surgeon so that he can lay them out for you once you are examined and your goals are reviewed. Best of luck!
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Without photographs or an in-person examination it is difficult to offer the best advice but there are a combination of procedures that can be pursued, including asymmetrically sized implants, fat grafting, or a combination of the two. See a series of ASPS surgeons in your area to have a discussion.
Hi. You are in the optimal age to undergo a breast augmentation surgery to correct your asymmetry, because at your 18 years old you need to feel like all the other girls and be able to use fashion and bikinis or swimsuits as any other girl of your age does. Explain your father this is a very important moment of your life to improve and protect your self esteem.
