Derma Fillers for midforehead

I have had botox injections on my forehead but I still have a hollowed out look in the mid forehead region and was wondering about dermafillers for this area to create more fullness. What type of dermafillers could be used for this area and is it safe to use a cannula for that area ?

Procedure: Dermal Fillers
Location: Stony Point, NC

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Dermal fillers can be placed into the forehead, using a cannula, to good results. I would recommend seeking out a series of ASPS board certified plastic surgeons in consultation to discuss your goals. They can give you their best advice after an in-person examination.

Be careful with fillers in forehead, as there are a lot of blood vessels and one of the dangers of any injection is intrvascular injection. It is rare but you should be aware of this risk. I would recommend using hyaluronic acid fillers if you do decide to proceed, as there is a medication to dissolve it if you have a problem or don't like the result. Be sure to find a very experienced BC plastic surgeon from ASPS and understand that this is an "off label" treatment. Having said that, fillers are a good way to improve contour in the face.
