My daughter has lost a decent amount of weight and now has excess skin dangling from her arms. She has worked hard to be where she is at now. I am wondering if anyone can perform this surgery.

Nearly every board certified plastic surgeon and member of the ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons) would be qualified to do this type of surgery. However, I must admit that it is quite unusual to consider this surgery at such a young age. Thank you for sharing your excellent question. For most 14 year olds their skin has sufficient elasticity to shrink back with weight loss accomplished through diet and exercise. This does need to be considered on a case by case basis so be sure to seek out a series of consultations from local ASPS board certified plastic surgeons.
