Hi there,

The tone of your note sounds like you are very eager for a fix to what sounds like a challenging problem. Sadly, it is difficult to understand exactly what happened and what we can do to help. It sounds like you may have nutritional issues that need to be addressed first. Have you seen a local board certified plastic surgeon?

Would love to help,

Dr Jonathan Zelken

Dear Justhelpmeplease,

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Based on your description, I suspect that you may be a good candidate for fat grafting to the irregular areas of your abdomen. However, it is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!

Hello

Your description of your abdomen suggests that you may have a collection of fluid under your skin called a seroma. This needs to be treated first prior to any consideration of fat grafting. Suggest you consult a board certified plastic surgeon for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
