Symmastia repair

Ive had congenital symmastia repair surgery about a month ago, i dont want to bother my surgeon calling to ask, he said the internal sutures will dissolve at 10 weeks, at what point will i know if the surgery was a success or if we will have to redo it or not? Im still currently in the compression/thong bra. Im still having a bit of lifting/webbing between my breasts, which is what concerns me.

Procedure: Breast Augmentation
Location: mesa, AZ

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. I would recommend waiting at least six months before assessing what your long-term results will be. Hang in there!

Don't be afraid to "bother" your surgeon. He operated on you and is responsible for addressing your concerns. His care does not stop upon discharge from the recovery room.

I agree with Dr. Allan. Contact your surgeon tomorrow with your concerns. Be sure to follow his/her instructions and wear the prescribed garment as directed. Best wishes
