Lots of concerns

I am facing corrective surgery due to the shape and size of my breasts not being what I asked for (not filled to CCs discussed in pre-op consultation). Is re-entry possible through the armpit? Pre-op, I was told re-entry is difficult. Post-op , I was told it was not possible.

Procedure: Breast Augmentation
Location: RIVERSIDE, CA

With regards to size, I'm not sure what your thoughts are regarding revision. If you think that the same implants can be used and merely filled more, it would not be recommended. Although you can take just about any saline implant and fill it to twice it's recommended capacity, bad things start happening as you go past it's recommended maximum fill: less rippling followed by more rippling as it is overfilled, increased projection and diminished diameter, and increased firmness. In general, if the size isn't right, new implants should be used.

Depending on the amount currently instilled, and the amount desired, it may not be possible to achieve an increase in saline implant volume and an exchange towards another size may be required. Unfortunately only your operative surgeon knows your desired results and key breast measurements to offer the best advice.

I would think revision of the size and / or shape of your breasts through the transaxillary incision would be difficult. Best to meet with your surgeon, verbalize your concerns and try to work out a plan to address them.
