Lots of concerns

I'm concerned that my implants are too wide for the look I asked for. I'm worried that my breasts are going to stretch out and not be able to obtain the look I desired from the start. If the implant is too wide, can the effects of the implant be reversed?

Procedure: Breast Augmentation
Location: RIVERSIDE, CA

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry that your current results have not been what you anticipated. Initially due to tissue swelling, implants are constricted and can appear flat and wide. Typically this resolves over the first 6+ months. If the implants are in fact too wide for your frame, however, it is best to have them exchanged for a more narrow diameter. Hope this helps.

It is not clear how long ago your surgery was. If you are relatively early on in your course, the width of your breasts may improve with time as the implants settle and swelling resolves. Once the width of the breasts becomes established, exchange to a more narrow implant is likely what will be needed. Follow up with your surgeon and verbalize your concerns to them.
