Chiseled facial looks/ baby fat

Hello, I lost weight about 4 years ago about 40 lbs and I don’t have abs, my face stil looks average with baby fat not allowing myself to have a chiseled jawline or cheekbones. So I’m pretty sure the problem I have is that I have baby fat that won’t go away. is there something out there to get rid of the baby fat or enhance my facial features to hav stronger jawline and cheekbone appearance? -Adam

Procedure: Cheek Augmentation

Best to see a plastic surgeon with a Vectra 3 dimensional imaging machine to help you visualize what may be achieved with plastic surgery. I suspect you would benefit from chin augmentation and some fat redistribution. It is possible some jowl lifting can enhance your jawline. Good luck.

To define the jaw and cheekbones may require facial filler selectively to this area to enhance their appearance. You would have to be seen in person to be properly evaluated. Best of luck!

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. There are a number of treatment options available to you to achieve a stronger cheek and jawline and most patients undergo filler placement to accomplish this. I would discuss your concerns, and desired goals, with an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in your area for the best advice after an in-person examination. Hope this helps.

There are a number of things from nonsurgical like fillers to surgical. I would suggest forwarding some photos so I can give you some alternatives.

Thank you for your question. There are many non surgical options available to you. Kybella, Ultherapy, to name a few. Another option could be a chin implant which would be surgical. I would suggest seeing a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to help you find what the best option for you would be.

Congratulations on your weight loss. Liposuction of the chin and or jawline can provide a more defined neckline and jaw for many people. To augment the jaw further, fat grafting, or filler can also be used.

I'm not sure what you might mean by baby fat. Some people have more soft tissue fullness, some have more prominence of their bone structure. After examining you and speaking with you, your plastic surgeon would be able to give you realistic sugical and non-surgical options for improvement and change. There could be many options for you, but one could only meaningfully advise you of the best options after meeting with you and understanding your goals. Best wishes.
