I am 64 years am I too old for breast reduction. My back hurts, my shoulders have indentations from bra straps, my neck hurts, I am 5'3" and wear a 38 to 40 DD bra and weigh 140 lbs. Also insurance is the only way I could pay for it.

Age is not a significant factor for this procedure. You overall health is. You are not overweight and, unless you have some serious medical issues, the reduction can significantly reduce the problems associated with the size of your breasts. There are plenty of great plastic surgeons in Texas and your insurance will cover the consult. Then, based on the information from your surgeon you can make an informed decision for or against the procedure.

Unless you are in awful health, and I operate on many 60 year olds with multiple significant medical problems, you are not too old at all. You probably need a 500-600 G reduction on each side. Pittsburgh would accept you.
It's not about the age, it's about your health. My breast reduction patients are some of the happiest patients I have. Relieving the pain frees the patient's and the patient's actually stand taller without that weight pulling the shoulders down.
