I’m on my 24th day post op neck and facelift. I’m experiencing bumps under my chin and side of neck and tightness. Is this normal? Did something go wrong?
Bumps may be the result of your tissue swelling receding and your sutures becoming more palpable. Tightness is expected after surgery, but because this is an apparent change in your recovery, be sure to see your surgeon for an in-person examination.
What you describe is not uncommon following a face and neck lift. Be sure to follow up with your surgeon so they can evaluate you and help speed your recovery.
