I am researching the best fat removal procedure for my husband and want to know if lipo, tummy tuck or any of the noninvasive fat removal procedures will work/are best. He's a big guy (ex athlete) and has stomach fat he wants removed that has been hard to get rid of with just diet and exercise. What are the factors in determining which is the best option?

Your husband would need an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to determine which procedures are best for him. He may be a candidate for liposuction, Abdominoplasty or both. Also he may need to lose more weight prior to any procedures as men tend to carry a lot of their fat intrabdominally around the internal organs. That fat cannot be removed.

While an in-person consultation is always best, since you mention your husband is an ex-athlete I will assume he has no dramatically hanging abdominal skin from massive weight loss and has kept himself in good shape. That being the case I suggest the following: 1) 360 Lipo- tumescent lipo of entire abdomen, spare tire, love handles, flanks, lower and upper back.
