To add definition to the nose and augment you might consider a non surgical rhinoplasty. This is done in the office and involves injection of filler like Juvederm to the nose. There's no recovery and results are immediate.

I agree with Dr.Aronowitz. For augmentation of the profile or the dorsum, doing minimally invasive, non-surgical techniques are a good and reasonable options. Using short term fillers such as restylane and juvederm or longer term fillers such as bellafill work well. I have done several of these. These work well for isolated depressions to further refine the nose. Patients have been happy with such minimally invasive options,.

Surgery can always be a good option. For augmenting the top of the nose, usually, cartilage is harvested either from the nose or from the rib and used to augment as a permanent graft to give more projection to the nose.

Just as everything else, a good detailed conversation and consultation should help guide you the right way.

You would have to be evaluated in person to determine if you’re a good candidate for a rhinoplasty procedure. If your nose is flat, dorsal augmentation using your own rib, cadaver rib, or a synthetic substitute can be used. The tip may or may not be refined as much as you would like, this would depend upon the thickness of your soft tissue envelope.

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. There are a number of ways to increase the size of the nose, from nonsurgical methods (e.g., filler injection) to surgical methods (e.g., bone or cartillage grafting). It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!

Nasal bridge augmentation has been around for quite sometime. In fact, it's been a pretty popular procedure for my Asian patient population. There are many options available to build the bridge as mentioned by other colleagues on this post. I've gotten nice temporary result with Radiesse injection. For permanent solution, I prefer silicone implant. Subtlety in this area wins the day in my opinion.
