Arm Lift AND Tummy Tuck

After losing over 100# on my own, my insurance is paying for an arm lift and a tummy tuck. My plastic surgeon wants to do them one week apart. Is that enough time in between? Also, which surgery is better to have first?

Procedure: Arm Lift
Location: Burbank, WA

It really depends on you and your surgeon. They can be done at the same time or a week or months apart. Without knowing more about your case, its hard to give specific advice. Best to discuss with your surgeon and make a plan together.

Thank you for sharing your question. As each area is independent of the other, the order performed does not matter. As for combining procedures, it may be possible but ultimately depends on an in-person examination of your tissues, and the full extent of surgery required. Hope this helps.

The logistics of surgical timing varies depending upon the surgeon. Personally I like to separate major procedures like this by about 6 weeks. It gives the patient time to be back to full activities and well healed from the first surgery. Best of Luck Dr Harrell
