So I had a tummy tuck august 1st 2019 and not sure if my belly button is okay. Is it to soon to judge it.
Without a picture, it is hard to say but they are usually swollen for 3 to 6 months so give it some time and follow up with your plastic surgeon.
Thank you for sharing your question. Yes at only 5 weeks out from your tummy tuck it is too early to know your long-term results. Most likely the belly button is still swollen and will need time to mature further.

You are still very early into the healing process to determine what the long-term results will look like. Please follow up with your plastic surgeon for post op care instructions.
The umbilicus can be swollen for a number of months post-operatively. Other than that it should look reasonably normal soon after surgery. Best of luck Dr Harrell
