Inverted Breast Nipple

Hello!

I had breast reduction surgery with liposuction in May 2019. After first check up, it was obvious that the nipple on my left breast collapsed. After two weeks, my lady surgeon tried to recover the nipple in June 2019, procedure called debridement.

This hasn't worked. I am still with inverted nipple, plus complications.

Can debridement recover the inverted nipple?

Thank you.

Procedure: Breast Reduction
Location: Coquitlam, BC - Canada

Its hard to say without an in person evaluation of this problem, or at least seeing a picture. If you are concerned, you may want to get a second opinion.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Difficult to answer without seeing a series of photographs but an inverted nipple during a breast reduction typically occurs due to scar tissue formation. With release of the tissue, and interposition of healthy fat, most likely your results can be improved.
