I am unsure of what procedure I would need in order to get the results I want. I have some lower belly fat and some on my flanks/hips which I would like to be flat and a bit more hourglass figured. I am only 24 and it isn't much (I weigh 135 and I am 5'5") but it's enough to bother me. Is it possible to get the results I want with JUST liposuction?
Hello Katie,
Based on what you are describing my best guess without pictures or an exam is that liposuction may give you the results you are after. The only sure way to know would be to have an in person consult. I would have to assess your skin quality and see if there is any laxity (looseness) to the skin that might require a tummy tuck.
Hi Katie,
Thanks for your excellent question.
Without examining you it is impossible to tell what procedures would be proper to achieve your goals. It depends on your skin quality and if you have rectus muscle diastasis if you have had children. I am in Wall township not too far from Berkeley Heights, I would be happy to provide an in person consult. If you are interested please email or call my office.
Best wishes!

Thank you for sharing your question. Without photographs it is difficult to offer definite advice but based on your narrative alone it sounds as if liposuction would be a good option.
Hi. You do not need to be fat to have Liposculpture, a trained plastic surgeon eye can find fat deposits that you may not have seen. I have videos with Lipo and BBL on skinny patients. But an online or physical evaluation is needed to verified your candidacy for the procedure.
Based on your description of yourself you are likely to benefit from liposuction alone. If you've never been pregnant or weighed significantly more than you do now then loose skin or muscular stretching is not likely to be a problem and therefore a tummy tuck will probably not help you. Best of Luck Dr Harrell
