Would a breast lift help with my back pain?

I am a 34DDD, weigh 104 lbs and am almost 5’1. Would a breast lift be enough to help with back pain?

Thank you for this very great question. The cause of your back pain may be due to large breasts or it may be due to other issues such as problems with your spine. Most patients do report that they do get relief of back pain after a breast reduction but it is hard to say how much relief you will get.

Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine which procedures are best to achieve your goals.

Best wishes!

It sounds like you might be an excellent candidate for a breast reduction. However, it is difficult to predict whether or not your back pain will improve from this procedure. Best of luck!!

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. It is not an absolute, but if you elevate each breast higher onto your chest and find relief of your neck and back pain, a breast reduction/lift should improve your symptoms. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't recommend a lift. It wouldn't do much for your pain. However, I think a breast reduction would be more likely to give you some relief and it sounds like you'd be a good candidate for that procedure.

Hello dear and thank you for your question. It sounds like you're a good candidate for a breast reduction. Large breast is often a common cause of back pain, and can also be related to spinal problems. I recommend you to have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, to determined what's the best surgical option for you.

Thank you for your question. Large breasts are one reason women experience back pain. A breast lift can improve your back pain barring any other reason for your discomfort. Your best bet is a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Hello, it seems to me you are candidate for a Mastopexy and a Breast Reduction, meaning you do not only need a lift but also a reduction of your breast, in which excessive fat, gland and skin will be remove.

This will improve back pain.
