Breast Lift

Sensitivity after Breast lift

I’m looking into getting a breast lift, possibly with augmentation and my biggest fear is The nipples sensitivity loss and breast feeding. I’ve heard feedback from people saying they gained back their sensitivity, some gained some of it and others none and that scares me. What are they chances that my nipple sensation and sensitivity will be regained?

Dear Cynthy,

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I prefer to perform a specific type of no-vertical scar breast lift, which has a lower chance of resulting in changes to your nipple sensation. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!
