What surgery would reduce a double

Chin. Not the little type of double chin. Fat and Hanging saggy skin?

Is it done with face lift?

If it was just fatty tissue then liposuction would seem reasonable. If you have loose hanging skin then a facelift might seem appropriate.

The " double chin" is composed of excess fat, excess skin and loose muscle. If it is very saggy as you describe, most likely it will need surgery to correct the loose skin, some liposuction to remove the excess fat, and t repair and tightening of the SMAS and platysmal muscle.

Surgery is usually done with the patient asleep, and takes about 4 hours. There is very little pain, but it is important to have downtime to allow healing. I am in Alexandria VA if you desire a consultation.

It depends on how extensive your double chin is and if you have loose skin. In the most mild case, non surgical Kybela would probably work, then more severe, liposuction and finally this and neck lift.

Thank you for sharing your question. For most patients, liposuction alone can help reduce the prominence of a double chin while any excess skin typically requires a neck lift. Hope this helps

What you are describing is not just a double chin, it is a combination of face and neck redundancy (sagging). The effective treatment for this is a face and neck lift.
