Do you stop losing your butt fat or will I always have to get fat transfers, in the future?
Assuming your surgeon is a properly trained ABPS diplomate, whatever you keep at 4 months should stay with you without any more grafting.
Once you get a bbl, and if your weight is stable, then whatever fat survives from the initial surgery should remain.
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Once fully healed from your BBL, whatever fat remains will be permanent. The fat will fluctuate based on your diet and exercise, however.
After any fat transfer surgery, a certain amount will take and some will not survive. This amount fluctuates depending on the technique used, location, and amount of fat injected. Once the fat survives, it is permanent. As with fat in any other location, it will grow and shrink with weight fluctuations, but overall the volume should maintain over time. Hope this helps!
