Difference between standard liposuction and Vaser liposuction?

What are the biggest differences between normal liposuction and Vaser liposuction. Can you still achieved a BBL with Vaser liposuction or not? I cannot find any information on that, so I figured ask the professionals. Which is better for healing, and results? Thank you for any information.

Vaser liposuction has had a resurgence since the advent of ‘hi def’ liposuction in the last few years. When it was first introduced almost 20 years ago, the company explained that the technology was designed to rupture the fat cells. 10 years later when large volume fat grafting became popular (BBL), they claimed it enhanced cell survival. Which is it? I don’t know. I can tell you with certainty that ‘regular’ liposuction can achieve any result that Vaser can. What’s important is the training, skill, and experience of the surgeon. The machines are unimportant.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Both liposuction techniques can be used effectively to achieve the same overall result. Vaser incorporates ultrasound to disrupt the fat cells to help aid in removal while traditional liposuction requires more mechanical work. Hope this helps.

Vaser liposuction is a ultrasound assisted liposuction. The ultrasonic energy helps destroy the fat cells. Some people believe the Vaser makes the skin contract more than regular liposuction but I think you get better skin contraction with regular liposuction than Vaser. it is probably not a good idea to use Vaser for fat transfers because you may kill some of the fat cells and have less fat available for the fat transfer.

Hi. In my 25 year experience the best method for fat transfer and its survival in the receptor area is the traditional Lipo. Vaser Lipo destroys the fat cell making impossible its survival in the receptor site.
