How dangerous is the Brazilian Butt lift surgery?

Does the BBL surgery have a high risk of death? Will this fat turn into cellulite or an issue later on? BBL vs buttocks collagen injection, what is safer, what last longer and which has the naturalest. Look. What is the average cost of both procedures?

I think like all operations there are risks. I perform many BBL’s. I think placing the fat subcutaneously above the muscle keeps the procedure very safe. In my hands, my patients usually get about 65-70% survival of the fat. This is permanent. If you have fat donor fires, then I would go this route. Filler product is ok but not permanent and is best reserved for those without donor sites. Best of luck!

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. For most healthy patients seeking treatment by a reputable provider there is little risk of death with this procedure. The fat placement needs to be placed above the buttock muscle for the best results and the grafts that take will not turn into cellulite later. Hope this helps.

Fat injected into the subcutaneous tissue of the buttocks should be a safe procedure in well trained hands. Once that fat survives and becomes incorporated into your existing buttock tissues, it should last a long time. This should give a natural look. Filler substances are not likely to provide a good long term solution for the buttocks.

Hi. All surgical procedures have risk and possibility of complications, but in plastic surgery the happening of such event is rare, because being an elective surgery is performed in the patient's healthiest moment. Fat harvesting by Liposculpture and its transfer to buttocks is a delicate procedure, but in experience and cautious hands there should be no problems. There is not other filler as good and to be found in such high volumes as your own fat cell. It should be transfer to the receptor area and injected over the muscles.

Fat will not turn into cellulite, cellulite is a condition of the skin. Fat cell survival rate, using traditional lipo for harvesting it, is about 80%, what I do is to over correct to compensate the lost. No masages or ultrasound should be given in the receptor area.

Cost vary from region to region, hear it will be around US$3,750.00 including costs and medical fees (not included lodging, emergency, neither physiotherapy).
